HR Dev Ops - ATS Integration

If you are a back office hack like me, you may be interested in this post. I hope to use my experience in the field of startup HR and cloud HR applications to help you, the blossoming HR Star, to understand more about how the back office works, and how to integrate your applications for improved client experience.

For those who want to skip the text, please have a look here at the video I made: LinkedIn Video

For those who like to browse before you click, here is the synopsis:

First - an introduction. This may be your first time to the website, and I would be remiss to say what this site is about: Talentrics is a personal vision of a site that I have worked on for years.. I hope to share my expertise with you, and trigger a collective discussion around how to solve HR problems. Have a look at the site if I say something of interest…

Second, my work: I work as the Director of HR Technology and Operations at a well known startup in NYC. I want to share with you some of my adventures in the world of HR Dev Ops, and how you may be building real value through process optimization and talent program implementation at your company!

Third - I want to help you solve a technical problem - How do you integrate your HR systems effectively to automate ‘next steps’ in the HR On-boarding pipeline. The pipeline in itself is a much wider issue, but this blog is looking at how we can use the values entered into our Applicant Tracking System (ATS`) to automatically fill out forms and create records in our Human Resources Information System (HRIS)

If you want to geek out with me a bit, here is 10 mins on my introduction to this topic.. I plan to have follow up workshops in this series to look at how we form the ‘connection’ between applications, and how we then update offer documents & employment records in the HRIS system.

In this example, I will use Greenhouse ATS, Google Cloud & Bamboo HRIS.
